Vorschlag zum Umgang mit Kundenanfragen nach VxWorks o.ä.:1)
Frankly, there’s very little demand for VxWorks on TQ modules compared to Linux.
This is why we do not provide VxWorks BSPs “by default” and cannot really afford “standby support resources” for VxWorks either.
In terms of creating a VxWorks BSP for a specific TQ module this means we need to fall back on third parties (e.g. Wind River Services).
However, in most cases these BSPs are of little to no benefit for TQ (due to the lack of demand, as mentioned above).
Considering this, TQ prefers (in general) that customers directly contact some third party to have their VxWorks BSP needs covered.
This approach allows customers to order a BSP “tailor-made” for their specific requirements, while saving the overhead of TQ being “in between”.
In the end, this should reduce cost and optimize the schedule for the customer.
Please advise if TQ should establish contact to one of our software partners regarding your request
