Flickering / jumping display contents on USB connect
| Symptom | Display contents flickers or gets (either temporarily or permanently) shifted sideways when connecting an USB device. |

| Reason | Calls to blank_panel() in mxsfb.c apparently confuse the i.MX28 display controller. |
| Remedy | Apply the following patch to comment out the corresponding calls to blank_panel():workaround-for-flickering-jumping-display-on-usb-con.zip |
Starting with kernel 3.x this misbehaviour should not occur anymore.
