How to install Linux on TQMxE38M/C
Prepare
- Install Win32 Disk Imager Tool on the Host
- Download an iso-image of the distribution you want to install (e.g Ubuntu or Debian)
Burn the Image on USB-Stick
- Open the Win32 Disk Imager Tool
- Choose the downloaded iso-image and the USB-Stick
- Click on write to burn the image
Install Linux
- Connect the USB-Stick to the TQMxE38M/C
- Boot the TQMxE38M/C in to the UEFI
- Go to SCU, Boot and choose under Boot Type “UEFI Boot Type”
- Press F10 to Save and Exit
- Boot the TQMxE38M/C in to the UEFI
- Go to the Boot Manager and select the EFI USB Device
- Now the System will boot from the USB-Stick
- Click on Install «chosen Linux Distribution»
- Follow the Install Instructions
